Shipping Charges - Shipping Rate Table Below

Shipping is expensive. We hate that as much as you do, but sadly we have no control over what UPS charges us to ship plants. Shipping is proportionally much higher for smaller orders, so get with your friends and order together to save on overall shipping costs. We ship everything out (unless you request otherwise) in the beginning of the week so it will not sit over the weekend in transit.

Claims

We are happy to replace plants that were damaged in shipment or in the unlikely event that they were packed to wet and rotted. If something is wrong, you must let us known right away. We grow many unusual, difficult to grow plants, and we are not responsible for what you do to the plants once they come out of the box and into your garden.

Dormant plants

When possible, we ship plants when dormant because they travel best that way. If you get a pot that looks empty, please do check with us before throwing it away to ensure it is not just dormant.

When your plants arrive

When your plants arrive, unpack immediately, water if needed, and put in a sheltered spot to recover from the stress of shipping. If there is something seriously wrong, please let us know right away. When plants are placed an a box they will often become a bit chlorotic or start to go dormant, dormant plants may start to wake up and send up some very white shoots, this is normal, the plants should green up when they get back in the light.
